Presenting/Chief Complaints:
A 71 year old male presented with complaints of Lower urinary tract symptoms - frequency in urination, hesitancy and incomplete emptying of the bladder.
Diagnosis:
Grade III Prostatomegaly - 7.0 x 8.3 x 8.5 cm corresponding to a volume of 291.83 cc.
Treatment/Procedure/Surgery:
NanoSlim MiPS (Minimally Invasive Surgery for Prostate) under General Anesthesia.
Operative Findings:
NanoSlim MiPS (Minimally Invasive Surgery for Prostate) was performed and Prostate was removed in a single sitting.
Operative time: 70 minutes Enucleation and 30 minutes Morcellation.
Course of Hospitalization and Condition of Patient at the Time of Discharge:
Post Operatively the patient passed clear urine and no traction was given. Patient underwent a prostate biopsy which was benign.
