Presenting/Chief Complaints:
A 65 yr old female patient came with complaints of heaviness in the abdomen and recurrent episodes of loose motion.
Diagnosis:
Upon further investigation, CT scan abdomen revealed a 26.1 x 15.2 x 22.5 abdominal mass with internal septation probably of ovarian origin.
Treatment/Procedure/Surgery:
Exploratory Laparotomy + Ovarian Cyst Excision + Colostomy done under General Anesthesia.
Operative Findings:
Intraoperatively a large cystic union was excised from the abdomen, weighing 5.5 kgs.
Course of Hospitalization and Condition of Patient at the Time of Discharge:
Patient has responded well to the treatment and was discharged in a stable condition.
