About Dr. Shital Lengade

Dr. Shital Lengade is a highly accomplished Nephrologist and Renal Transplant Physician with over two decades of experience in clinical nephrology, dialysis management, and kidney transplantation. A distinguished alumnus of Seth G.S. Medical College & K.E.M. Hospital, Mumbai, Dr. Lengade completed his DM in Nephrology after earning his MD (Medicine) from Government Medical College, Miraj.
He pursued a Fellowship with the International Society of Nephrology at UCLA, Los Angeles (2004–2005), where he trained under world-renowned nephrologists Dr. Isidore Salusky and Dr. Anjai Rastogi. His exposure to advanced dialysis modalities and transplant nephrology during his time at UCLA has contributed to his exceptional expertise in the field.
Dr. Lengade oversees dialysis units comprising more than 35 stations, performing over 2,000 dialysis sessions per month. He was instrumental in initiating Goa’s CAPD and APD programs, which currently serve over 65 patients. Deeply committed to education and community service, he regularly conducts physician CMEs and patient awareness programs under the Goa Kidney Foundation.
