About Dr. Shital Lengade

Dr. Shital Lengade (MBBS, MD (Med), DM (Nephro) is working as Consultant Nephrologist at RG Hospital, Goa. He has completed his MBBS & MD (Nephrology) from Seth GS Medical College & KEM Hospital Mumbai. He is a well known Nephrolgist in Goa.

Dr. Shital Lengade has performed more than 200 Native Kidney Biopsies and 16 transplant Biopsies till date with active Clinical Nephrology and ICU Nephrology work. He is a member of Professional Organizations of Indian Society of Nephrology, Peritoneal dialysis society of Indian and American Society of Nephrology.

Awards and Recognition:

• Secured ALL INDIA 7th rank in D.M Entrance examination for securing fellowships in various branches with candidates from all over the country appearing for the same.
• Ranked first in Mumbai University, M.D- Internal Medicine examination
• Initiated the CAPD (and APD) programme in Goa with currently 60 patients enrolled under the same.
• Member of the nephrology team that initiated the living donor kidney transplant programme in Goa
• Medical College.
• Initiated the Cadaver transplant registration at Healthway Hospital.
• Regular participation in regional, national, and international (World Congress ERA- EDTA, ASN, Transplant Congress, ISN -nexus) academic meetings.
