About Dr. Sandeep Puri

Dr. Sandeep Puri is a senior physician and medical leader with over three decades of experience in Internal Medicine, with additional expertise in Rheumatology, critical care and comprehensive management of complex medical conditions. He has held several prominent academic and administrative positions at Dayanand Medical College & Hospital (DMCH), Ludhiana, including Professor and Head of the Department of Medicine, Medical Superintendent, Vice Principal and Principal.

His clinical experience encompasses a broad spectrum of adult medicine, with particular exposure to rheumatological disorders, diabetes, infections, respiratory illnesses, renal and gastrointestinal conditions, critical care and complex multisystem diseases. He has also undergone focused training in Rheumatology at AIIMS, New Delhi, as well as advanced endocrinology training at Cleveland Clinic Foundation.

Alongside clinical practice, Dr. Puri has made significant contributions to medical education, research and academic leadership. He has supervised postgraduate research, served on multiple university academic boards and played an active role in organising major medical conferences. His research portfolio includes numerous publications in national and international journals, book chapters and participation as principal investigator in multinational clinical trials.
