Dr. Ashok Mittal is the Medical Director and Head – Minimal Access Surgery Department at at RG Hospitals || RG Stone Urology & Laparoscopy Hospital, East of Kailash, New Delhi. With over 37 years of surgical experience, more than 50,000 surgeries, more than 30,000 laparoscopic cholecystectomies and more than 1000 Hernia Repairs, he is recognised as one of Delhi’s most respected laparoscopic surgeons.
He completed his MBBS from Maulana Azad Medical College (1979) and MS in General Surgery from Lady Hardinge Medical College (1984). A true pioneer, Dr. Mittal has been practising laparoscopic surgery since 1992 and has trained more than 50 surgeons across India through advanced workshops in minimally invasive surgical techniques.
