Dr. Arun Kumar K. is a Senior Consultant – Urology and Andrology at RG Hospitals || RG Stone Urology & Laparoscopy Hospital, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, with over 15 years of surgical and clinical expertise. He completed his MBBS from Kilpauk Medical College, Chennai (2004) and MS in General Surgery from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi (2007), where he received the Gold Medal in Surgery from the Diplomate of National Board (DNB). He further pursued MCh in Urology from Madras Medical College (2012), earning Gold Medals in both Theory and Clinical Urology from the Madras Urological Society. He also holds an MRCS (Glasgow), obtained in 2008.
Dr. Arun Kumar K. has extensive experience in advanced laparoscopic, endourological, reconstructive, and laser-assisted urological surgeries. He has been an invited speaker and session chair at several state and national conferences, with multiple publications and contributions to academic literature — including a chapter on Holmium Laser Prostatectomy and another on Oligospermia in the USI Textbook of Practical Urology. His research work on Inguinal Hernia was recognised as a model by the Indian Health Ministry.
