About Dr. Ponugoti Prathyusha

Dr. Ponugoti Prathyusha is a Consultant in Anaesthesia and Critical Care with over 13 years of clinical experience in delivering anaesthesia and perioperative critical care across a wide range of surgical specialties. She has extensive experience in cardiac anaesthesia, critical care, general and regional anaesthesia, with additional exposure to complex thoracic, vascular and renal transplant procedures.

She completed her MBBS from PES Medical College, Kuppam, followed by a Diploma in Anaesthesiology from ASRAM Medical College, Eluru. Over the course of her career, Dr. Prathyusha has worked with several leading hospitals across Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu.

A significant part of her professional experience has been dedicated to adult and paediatric cardiac anaesthesia and post-operative critical care. She has worked extensively in cardiothoracic and vascular surgical units, managing patients undergoing complex cardiac procedures, cath lab interventions, thoracic and vascular surgeries.

Dr. Prathyusha is also experienced in managing critically ill and post-operative patients in intensive care settings. Her expertise includes general and regional anaesthesia, advanced invasive monitoring and vascular access procedures. With experience across both high-acuity surgical care and critical care, she focuses on careful perioperative assessment, patient safety and comprehensive monitoring throughout the surgical journey.
