POSITION                   : TECHNICIAN
REPORTING TO        : INCHARGE - PATHOLOGY
QUALIFICATION        : DEGREE / DIPLOMA IN MEDICAL LABORATORY TECHNOLOGY
EXPERIENCE            : 1-5 YEARS 
DRESS CODE            : SPECIFIED DRESS CODE WITH I.D. CARD
DUTY HOURS           : AS PER SCHEDULED REQUIREMENTS

JOB DESCRIPTION

Key areas of responsibility:
1.    To provide list of Chemicals & Reports of Purchase Department after approval of H.O.D..
2.    To attend all O.P.D. & I.P.D. Patients.
3.    To conduct all routine tests for all surgeries(including Lapchole, Holep, PCNL, BNI,ESWL etc)
4.    To type all tests reports of all OPD & IPD Patients & signed by H.O.D..
5.    To follow strict biomedical waste management segregation e.g. Needle cutting & Waste checking.
6.    To maintain test report register of all O.P.D. & I.P.D. Patients.
7.    To take care of the equipments and to co-ordinate with biomedical team for the same.
8.    To give priority to emergency cases and to co-ordinate with the consultants / respective department for the same.
9.    To maintain appropriate departmental documentation.
10.    To treat all communication about patients, staff, and other organizational business confidentially. 
11.    To be involved in quality Assurance / Quality control activities.
12.    To perform all the jobs as may be assigned due to exigencies of work.
13.    Participation in Continuous Quality Improvement.
