JOB DESCRIPTION
Key areas of responsibility:

1.    Assess, stabilize, and manage critically ill patients with multi-organ dysfunction.
2.    Perform bedside procedures such as intubation, central venous catheter placement, and arterial line insertion.
3.    Manage mechanical ventilation and other advanced life support equipment.
4.    Attend daily multidisciplinary ICU rounds to ensure a cohesive care plan
5.    Lead Code Blue Team and ensure mock-drills are conducted on regular basis
6.    Participate in post-event analysis of Code blue team mock drills 
7.    Train and mentor ICU staff, including residents and nurses, on critical care protocols
8.    Management of nephrology-related ICU emergencies, including dialysis-related hypotension and metabolic complications.
9.    Work closely with the nephrology and surgical team for individualized care plans for ICU patients
