QUALIFICATION       : MBBS/ DGO/ DNB/ MD
DUTY HOURS           : AS PER SCHEDULED REQUIREMENTS

JOB DESCRIPTION
Key areas of responsibility:

1.    To provide expert consultation and manage all patients related to Gynae
2.    Interaction with patient attendants to brief them about current status, anticipated recovery and any other specific issues or problems. 
3.    To conduct and supervise all tests / procedures related to Gynae. 
4.    Document & review patient’s histories. 
5.    Perform independently / assist in procedures as per the clinical privileges authorized. 
6.    Direct the work to nurses, residents & other staff to provide patient care and taking patient round Morning & Evening. 
7.    To perform all Gynae surgery, Emergency procedures & Handle OPD, IPD & Emergency cases & also handle critical Gynae cases.
8.    To suggest/ recommend use of certain managerial tools/ techniques/ skills/ to upgrade the quality of patient care. 
9.    To take part in all regular CMEs.
10.    Understand responsibility pertaining to hospital codes.
11.    Must be familiar with NABH standards, protocols and documentation process.
12.    To be well groomed, punctual & adhere to company policies and practices, familiar with NABH protocols.
13.    To comply with patient safety policy. 
14.    To ensure safe utilization of equipments and proper waste disposal system. 
15.    To be involved in quality Assurance / Quality control activities.
16.    To perform all the jobs as may be assigned due to exigencies of work.
17.    Participation in Continuous Quality Improvement.
18.    To be a part of the team involved in Hospital promotion activities in hospital & outside.
