Urinary Tract Infection

Urinary Tract Infection

A urinary tract infection (UTI) is bacterial infection of any part of the urinary system. It is the second most common type of infection in the body.

Women are more likely to develop UTI than men, as the urethra is shorter in women than in men also it is located closer to the anus, and the chances of transferring bacteria into the bladder are higher as compared to men.
