Dr. Prerna Goyal is a Senior Medical Consultant and Infection Control Officer at RG Stone and Super-Specialty Hospital, Ludhiana. She is a scholarship holder (Hinduja Foundation), district topper and an experienced internist with more than 15 years of clinical practice. Her special areas of interest and expertise are diabetes, thyroid, cardiac and chest diseases. She is a certified trainee in diabetes by Boston University (USA), Cardiac emergencies (Medvarsity), Echocardiography (JROP institute, New Delhi), Thyroid disorders (PHFI), Cardiovascular diseases and stroke (PHFI, endorsed by Royal College of Physicians London) and Antimicrobial Stewardship (PHFI).

Dr. Prerna is presently working at the post of Vice President, WINCARS (Women In Cardiology and Related Sciences), which is a national academic body. Also she is an active member of FLAME (Forum of Ladies In Medicine) and LALP (Ludhiana Academy of Lady Physicians). She is the editorial member of IJCDW (Indian Journal Of Cardiovascular Diseases in Women) and executive board member of DCM Presidency School, Ludhiana. She is the founder member of SPCL Charitable society, which serves needy patients with liver disorders.

Dr. Prerna is a member of 5 national and 2 international academics bodies; eminent ones include American College of Physicians. She has presented numerous research papers in various national and international conferences. She has contributed to National and International Publications in various indexed medical journals.

She was amongst the panel to draw “National Consensus Scientific Statement and Working Guidelines for female Population in COVID-ERA” by WINCARS. She is proud recipient of “Best research paper Award” at All India Physician Conference (APICON) in 2018 and “NARI SHAKATI AWARD” by National Youth Congress on International Women’s Day. She has been the organizing secretary and member, organizing Committee of prestigious conferences at National and State level.

She is truly dedicated to exemplary patient outcomes and follows all latest medical updates. Her strong focus is on listening to and addressing patient concerns and answering all their queries.
