Dr. Ashok Mittal is Medical Director and Head of Minimal Access Surgery Department in RG Stone, East of Kailash. He is one of the finest Laparoscopic Surgeons in Delhi and has experience of more than 37 years in the field of Laparoscopy & General Surgery. He completed MBBS from Maulana Azad Medical College in 1979 and MS - General Surgery from Lady Hardinge Medical College in 1984. Dr. Ashok Mittal is an experienced, skilled and awarded doctor in his field of specialization. He is one of the pioneers who started doing Laparoscopic Surgery in 1992. He has conducted operating and training workshops in many places all over north India and has trained more than 50 surgeons in minimally invasive surgery.

Dr. Ashok Mittal has worked as a surgeon in LNJP hospital, RML Hospital, Lady Hardinge and associated hospitals. He was consultant surgeon at Friends Medical Centre, for more than 20 yrs

Dr. Ashok Mittal has special interest in Biliary surgeries and Hernia surgeries. He has successfully performed more than 25,000 laparoscopic surgeries like Gallbladder stones, Hernia, Appendix & many other advance laparoscopic surgeries.

Dr. Ashok Mittal is a member of Association of Surgeons of India (ASI), BSI and American College of Surgeons (ACS). He is also a lifetime member of Indian Association of Gastrointestinal Endosurgeons (IAGES), European Laparoscopic Surgeon’s Association (ELSA), Association of Minimal Access Surgeons of India (AMASI), Asia Pacific Hernia Society (APHSI), Abdominal Wall Reconstruction Surgery (AWRS).
