Dr. Punit Bansal is working as a Chief Urologist at RG Stone and Super Speciality Hospital, Ludhiana for the last 10 years. He completed his MBBS from KMC Mangalore in 1999, and MS- Surgery from Government Medical College, Patiala in 2003. After completing his MS, he worked as a Senior Resident at Government Medical College and Hospital, Chandigarh and as an Assistant Professor at Adesh Medical College, Bhatinda. He did his MCh- Urology from IPGMER and SSKM hospital, Kolkata in 2009.

Dr. Punit Bansal is a renowned Urologist of this region, and he has successfully performed about 15,000 Urological surgeries. He is an experienced, capable, proficient, and awarded doctor in his field of specialisation.

Dr. Punit Bansal has successfully performed Flexible Ureteroscopy for kidney stones, and more than 500 HoLEP surgeries for large prostate glands till date, largest prostate being 350 gm. He routinely performs Laparoscopic Urological and Urological Cancer procedures. He has special interests in Reconstructive urological procedures like Urethroplasty. He also runs female Urology clinics and deals in female Urinary incontinence and strictures.

He has published more than 25 articles in International journals, he is a Member of Urology society of India and North Zone. He is also member of AUA (American Urological Association).
